Hi, my name is Melissa Ade and I have the privilege of serving my community in Alberta as an Advanced Care Paramedic. In just a few short years the Paramedic Pay it Forward Award has grown immensely thanks to the supporters of its vision and purpose. We have developed a strong and passionate team and we look forward to recognizing those that exemplify the awards message. I enjoy teaching and also strive to continue in my own personal and educational growth. I also enjoy travelling and hiking with my dogs, Scraps and Oscar.
Hi, my name is Cheryl Cameron and I'm an Advanced Care Paramedic and advocate for interdisciplinary education and paramedic integration across the health system. I currently work in a strategic policy and leadership role with Emergency Health Services (Ministry of Health, Government of Alberta). My previous experience includes urban and rural prehospital care, large scale program development, quality improvement, quality assurance, and prehospital education. Across my career, I have provided educational and operational program expertise on a number of national initiatives in the sphere of paramedicine and palliative care. I have an interest in research and are currently investigating my next educational pursuit. I am proud to be a member of the Paramedic Pay It Forward Award team.
